Did you know that we should follow a circadian clock to drink coffee?

Ryoko Iwata, a Japanese coffee lover explain these facts on her blog ILoveCoffee.

Our body is associated with a 24-hour hormonal cycle which is popularly known as circadian clock. This clock monitors the stress hormone cortisol which keeps us active and awake.

Here, the peak time is when cortisol is produced. So, when you have coffee at this time, it may diminish the effectiveness of coffee and thereby show up bad effects on health conditions. Not just that, having coffee during the production of cortisol initially may make you hyperactive but after a couple of hours, you start feeling tired. Remember both caffeine and cortisol together can wear you off.

The production of cortisol occurs between 8-9 am, 12-1pm, and 5:30-6:30 pm.

The circadian clock depicts the perfect time to have coffee with minimal negative effects.  Therefore, have your cup of coffee at intervals between the peak times so as to reduce the negative impacts on health.

So, coffee is not a bad beverage. Erase the question “Is coffee healthy?” from your brains. Don’t worry to incorporate coffee into your daily routine. You just need to limit the number of cups you take per day and follow these tips laid down by some of the researchers and nutritionists.

Coffee I believe is very necessary part of my diet I know it gives me a boost in the morning which carries me through the wee hours and I’m pretty good with another cup as long as its before 3pm or I’m up most of the night. I like it black with nothing else as it dilutes it to me.
