But hang on! Is it really required to splurge on salons when there are inexpensive alternatives?
So, here I am to give you the best beauty care routine which you must follow at least a month or 2 months before the big day to look radiantly beautiful.
The Bridal Beauty care routine you need to start 1 month before the big day
The following are a few basic steps you must include in your daily routine to glow like a start.
1. Bridal massage oil
Not to mention, a beauty routine starts with constant and regular moisturization. Dry or flaky skin would ruin your face appearance and will be a reason for cakey makeup. So, moisturizing is the only key to nourish, rejuvenate and bring back the glow to your face. Whatever season it might be, start moisturizing your skin regularly.
A homemade moisturizer could be a great replacement to other commercial moisturizers since it contains all natural organic ingredients to enhance the skin’s texture a hundredfold.
You’ll need
- 1/2 cup of any pure unrefined oil
- A few Neem leaves
- 1 Tsp Organic Turmeric powder
Method of preparation
In a pan, drop all the ingredients and mix well. Now, heat the oil in medium flame. Heat the oil until sputtering sounds stops which indicates that there’s no moisture left. Then switch off the flame and allow the mixture to cool down to room temperature. Later, strain the solution and store it in a glass bottle.
Massage your face and body regularly with this oil to promote blood circulation and to get an eternal glow. Massage with upward strokes and circular motions for 10-20 minutes.
If you’ve oily skin use Jojoba oil. Don’t worry although you’ve oily skin, this oil would keep natural oils on the surface of your skin and benefit your skin in multiple ways. That’s because of the antibacterial properties present in this oil which can treat almost all skin problems such as acne scars, blemishes, wrinkles and many more.
2. Cleansing and Toning
The next important step though often neglected is cleansing and toning. They are essential in getting that perfect glow. Every day wash your face twice with a herbal cleanser or milk and follow it up with some toning with rose water. Doing so will cleanse away dead skin cells, dirt, excess oils and bacteria from the surface of your skin which thereby improves your skin’s complexity. On the other hand, toning can pamper your skin by nourishing and moisturizing it greatly. Therefore, follow the ritual of cleansing and toning every day, and you’ll see the results very soon.
How to apply?
In a bowl, take a couple of tablespoons of raw milk. Into that, dip a cotton swab and dab it all over your face. Wipe it gently over your face, neck area and hands to cleanse off dirt for 15 minutes. You’ll observe the cotton swab turning into a dark color which is an indication of dirt on your skin. Then let the milk on your skin dry and wash off soon it dries completely with a herbal face wash.
Later, pour a few drops of rose water into the cotton swab and dab on your face evenly.
3. An Ubtan Mask
Give a rest to your skin from all the chemicals that have been absorbed into your skin in the form of cosmetics, makeup products, and bath care products. Instead rely on natural products like masks made with organic, herbal and pure ingredients. These are inexpensive and effective at the same time. Furthermore, natural ingredients will not cause any harm to your skin or hair as they’re free of toxins, parabens, preservatives, fragrances, and other chemical substances.
